There are 3 species of Fragrant Orchid growing in Ireland: Chalk Fragrant-orchid (Gymnadenia conopsea), Heath Fragrant-orchid (Gymnadenia borealis) and Marsh Fragrant-orchid (Gymnadenia densiflora). As is the case with many orchids they are quite difficult to tell apart. Photos taken in mid-July to August.
