Flowers with only a single line of symmetry (like you) are bilaterally symmetrical, also called zygomorphic, like a mirror image along a single line. Common examples include Common Butterwort, Orchids and Pea flowers. Flowers that have multiple lines of symmetry, like the Fleabane pictured below, are radially symmetrical and referred to as actinomorphic.
